February - Dinner Out- TBA
March 1-March 31 -"Peace Corps: Promoting World Peace and Friendship" Exhibit @ Ohio Union Great Hall Art Gallery, The Ohio State University, 1739 N High St, Columbus, OH . Exhibit is of personal of Returned Peace Corps Volunteers objects that speak to the relationships (friendship) and greater understanding (peace). These may include such traditional items as clothing and fabric, household or work tools, weaving, pottery, and art as well as contemporary objects that symbolize important aspects of Peace Corps life. April 8 (Sat) - Cherry Blossom Festival, Adventure Center, Franklin Park, Columbus.Enjoy the cherry blossoms in full bloom, plus, vendors, dances, music, children's activites, Far East, games and more. CORVA will have a booth promoting Peace Corps.
April 13 (Thurs.) Peace Corps Send Off Party - Food, fun, stories and more. Details to follow.

June - Potluck and Comfest- gear up for the watermelon booth!
CORVA Watermelon Booth at COMFEST update! Comfest was a huge success this year!
Thanks to the efforts of those who helped out with the watermelon booth this June,CORVA raised $4561.27. Total raised since 2001 is now $47,539.68!
A big thanks to Janice Hoegrefe who takes on the feat of organizing the booth each year.

Peace Corps Week commemorates President John F. Kennedy’s establishment of the agency on March 1, 1961, and celebrates all the ways that Peace Corps makes a difference at home and abroad. As we begin a new decade, we look to the future. This Peace Corps Week, we invite the world to celebrate the ways our host communities and Volunteers are innovating for the world of tomorrow.
